This has been by far one of the craziest winters. And thankfully it is soon to be but a memory. As autumn rolled its way into winter the phone just kept ringing and business is doing well. Thank you to all of my new and existing customers for making this one of the best winter’s ever at See Clearly Window Cleaning.

One really memorable experience I had this season was just a few weeks ago. As many of you may know, in addition to window cleaning I also offer pressure washing services. However, I generally don’t do much pressure washing in the winter months. I received a call from a referral. He informed me that his house was going on the market in a week or so and he needed some pressure washing done. I drove by his property and gave him a bid. Done! When can you start the work?

So I scheduled it for Thursday and Friday of the same week. Wednesday night rolls around and there is 3 inches of snow on the ground… I got about 3 hours of work done Thursday. Then Friday comes and it is 19 degrees outside! Not the best day for pressure washing. I was able to get a couple of hours of work accomplished in the afternoon… Finally on Saturday and Sunday the weather warmed up and I was able to get the job completed. 24 hours of pressure washing and 4 hours washing windows and the project was complete… Maybe next time I should look at a weather forecast before I schedule a job like this one!

Now Spring is slowly approaching and the sun will be shining bright. I hope you all had a great 2010 and if you are like me, you are looking forward to an even better 2011. If you are ready to get a jump on your window cleaning, pressure washing, or other home service feel free to give me a call today. I would love to get you scheduled.

It has been a bit since I have sent out a post. Here is an update… the sun is shining, the weather has been quite nice, and we have been going crazy washing windows, cleaning blinds and repairing screens. Not to mention all the gutters we have cleaned this summer.

I just want to thank everyone who has called up and utilized our great services for their home. I have the BEST customers in the entire state of Oregon.

And a shout out to Grayson… he has been working so hard this summer and was actually given a $20 tip the other day. Way to go Gray! Not bad for only being 12 years old… it helped him to have a $90 day washing windows and installing blinds with the old DAD! Thanks for your help Grayson, you have been a huge motivator this summer.

Well, that’s enough for now. If you need your windows or blinds cleaned give me a call today. We are about 7-10 days out but can try to squeeze in smaller jobs if we can. And I can usually get over to clean the blinds in just a couple of days.

Cheers!

Washing windows in the rain is a very common occurrence in the Pacific NW. People frequently ask me if I can complete their job even if it is raining. I tell all of them the same thing… “If window washer’s don’t wash windows in the rain, they don’t work around this town.”

Here is a shot of me today in the pouring rain…

One of the reason’s that washing windows in the rain won’t affect the quality is because rain is clean and will dry on the nice clean glass without any spots.

Well, back to work!

Here is the question… “Can See Clearly Window Cleaning wash my windows when it is so cold outside or should I wait until spring?”

Well, let’s see…. um, YES! I can wash your windows in all types of weather and the winter tends to be the best time of year for you as the customer because I am offering a 10% discount to all new and existing customers from now until the end of the year.

Here’s a good story. Last year when we had all of the ice and snow I was at a new customer’s home just before Christmas time. It was so cold outside that the water would freeze the second it hit the window. It was like trying to squeegee ice off of the glass. Not easy to clean a window with ice that’s for sure… So, being the problem solver that I am I was able to wash their windows in spite of the freezing cold temperature and they were able to have bright shiny windows when all of their holiday guests arrived.

What’s the secret? Well, I will keep the secrets to myself, let’s just say that there is no time of year that will keep me from helping you have the cleanest windows in town.

Give me a call today to schedule a time for me to come out and give you a free estimate.

503-406-8667

See Ya Soon!
